J. 'RANDY' SMITH, 55
LAKELAND - Randall J. 'Randy' Smith, 55, of Lakeland died on March 13, 2018 in Tampa.
He was born in Cincinnati, OH to Flem & Virginia (Grooms) Smith and moved to the Lakeland area from Cincinnati, OH. Randy was a self-employed heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by his daughter Jessica Smith of Lakeland, FL, moth-er Virginia Anderson of Lakeland, FL, brother Daniel (Cindy) Smith of Bushnell, FL, sisters Linda Schmardebeck of Marblehead, OH, Judy (Dale) Robinson of Lakeland, FL, one granddaughter Gabriella.
The family received friends on Monday, March 19, 2018 at Gentry Morrison Funeral Home, 3350 Mall Hill Rd, Lakeland from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at which time a service took place. Randy was laid to rest at Socrum Cemetery during a sunset committal service.

For the short time we have known each other you became one of my best friends. And had many great times building everything we wanted. And making some great fireworks and setting them off on the holidays and a few in between. And the only thing to remember all those great times are the few videos of all the laughes we had. Living life the way it should be. Being Happy, Riding hard, and going out without regrets. Your Friend
