Drywall FinisherLAKE WALES -- Robert L. Watson of DeLand died of heart failure Friday (Oct. 25, 2002) at Lake Wales Medical Center. He was 61.Born in Bartow on July 10, 1941, he came to DeLand from Bartow seven years ago. He was a drywall finisher. He was involved in outreach ministries for many years with homeless families in Polk County. He was involved in the Feed the Children ministry for many years. He was a member of Bartow Christian Assembly.Mr. Watson is survived by his wife, Carolyn J. Watson, DeLand; sons, Jimmy Glen Watson, Lake Wales; Boyd Wingate, Biloxi, Miss., Gregory D. Watson and Wayne Watson, both of Alturas; daughter, Linda Gail Stacy, Barberville; brothers, Jessie Watson, DeLand, Ellis Watson and Corbett Watson, both of Lake Wales; sister Betty Jo Hann, DeLand; 11 grandchildren.Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 E.
