WINTER HAVEN - Rose Stephens passed away peacefully in her home due to cardiac arrest, on June 1, 2014, at the age of 66.
Rose was born in Johnson City, New York, on August 31, 1947. She moved to Winter Haven, Florida in 1973, and initially was a homemaker. Rose worked in real estate, and then worked for ABBY Chiropractic. She was also part owner of Past and Presents gift shop and later was owner of On Angels Wings gift shop.
Rose enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling to the mountains, and being an active member of her church. She was a woman of faith, and enjoyed reading her favorite bible verses to her granddaughter Paige.
Rose is survived by her spouse of 49 years, Richard of Winter Haven, daughter Kimberlee Har-per and husband Richard of Lake Wales, son Richie his wife Pam and granddaughter Paige of Winter Haven, her sister Patricia Rommel and her husband Ray of Johnson City, New York.
Services will be held on June 21, 2014, at 1:00 pm at Solid Rock Church 3601 Cypress Gardens Rd., Winter Haven, Florida. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation to Solid Rock Church would be preferred. The mailing address of the church is Solid Rock Church, P.O. Box 926, Winter Haven, Fl 33882.
Although her health deteriorated over the past few years she always remained positive and lived by the saying Live, Love, Laugh.
