SIDNEY PARRISH Obituary

SIDNEY ALLEN
PARRISH, 70

AUBURNDALE - It is with a heavy heart to announce that our father, Sidney Allen Parrish, went home to be with the Lord on March 19, 2018 from natural causes. He was 70 years of age. He was born on September 5, 1947 in Dothan, Alabama.
Sidney is survived by his two sons, Chip and Derrick Parrish, grandchildren Saige, Carson and Miracle Parrish.
He loved his family and friends and often spoke about his father and mother, Hubert and Mary Parrish. Sid was an avid outdoorsman who had a deep passion for fishing. He had a great respect for his country that he proudly served and had a heart of gold for helping others.
Family and friends will be celebrating his life on Saturday, March 24, 2018 with a visitation from 1 - 2pm at Kersey Funeral Home. There will be a graveside service at 2:30 pm to follow at Auburndale Memorial Park, 1889 W. Derby Ave., Auburndale, FL as part of his final request. We would like to invite all those who knew Sid to join us.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to John Hopkins All Children's Hospital in Sidney's name.

It's been almost a year since you left. I still miss you but I know you're with JESUS and we will meet again someday. When we met i was scared to death of snakes and alligators but you showed me how to deal with it. Now I don't fear anything. I treasure every memory.
Please give our girl Precious kisses and hugs from mommy. 27 years of marriage leaves a lot of memories mostly good. Love you Vicki
