AARON CASTILLO Obituary
WESLACO - Aaron Castillo, 18, passed away Friday, April 1, 2011, at his residence. Born in Weslaco, Tx. to Bernardino(Barney) and Minerba Castillo. Aaron attended Weslaco High School and was a member of the Rodeo Club. He enjoyed horseback riding, bull riding and off roading.
He will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
Survivors include his parents Bernardino(Barney) and Minerba Castillo, brothers, Jose Luis Castillo, Camilo Castillo and Bernardino (Troy) Castillo III, sisters, Connie Francis Castillo, and Minerva Castillo all of Weslaco.
He was preceded in death by his brother Bernardino Castillo Jr.
Viewing and visitation will take place today Monday, April 4, 2011, with a rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. at McCaleb Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Weslaco with interment to follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
Pallbearers will be Jose Luis Castillo, Camilo Castillo, Javier Gonzalez, T.R. Gonzalez, Ryan Martinez, and George Bocanegra.
Arrangements are under the direction of McCaleb Funeral Home in Weslaco.

heyy Aaron,
i miss you sooo much already, im going to miss seeing you at grandmas and how you used to cram urself in between me and my mom, that spot will always be there for you. i will miss you asking me every time you went over "so who you seeing now?" i will miss you calling me punk...but i know that you are in a better place now and RIDING FREE!! please watch over us and keep us all safe. Word's cannot begin to express my deepest condolences to the Castillo family...I was very saddened to hear of you'r loss, It is never easy to loose a child, Aaron was with you for a very short time but he left behind a lifetime of memories, he will be dearly missed. its hard to say goobye aaron vut all we gotta do is be strong and show you we all can smile like you did. ? :) i love you and i know we all love you too.. no matter what we will have you in our hearts ? ? everyday and everynight... you in heaven with the angels and with but god. we can't wait to meet you up there. thats another chapter of the book.. :") but i know you smiling for us. we all will make sure we are gonna do the same.. nothing ain't the same anymore here when you ain't here. but its ok. we all will meet in heaven:) and be buddys be buddys again :) -oxoxoxox love you ? okay i admit i knew who was physically but not emotinally so i really dont have much to say i just want to pay respects to his friends and his famaily. i think what junior class and his familyand friends did with the white shirt and cowboy boots was nice and showeed part of his cowboy side. i am sorry for those we knew him.

It's very hard to comprehend and accept this terrible tragedy. The void you have left behind will never be filled. Your memories is what will keep all those who love you going. Thank you Aaron for having been a part of our lives, for letting me get to know you, for always being so gentle, caring and nice to Francis, and for always being YOU. Always very quiet, but when you smiled, you gave that big 'ol genuine smile. You will be greatly missed Aaron, but do know we will always keep you in our hearts, and Francis will grow to cherish the wonderful memories and the legacy her Uncle Aaron left behind. Aaron, although we grew apart, your memories will stay with me forever. I'm at peace now knowing Barney isnt alone anymore. He has you riding along side him. Now that we have two angels on our side, watch over us always. Although our journey in this life will be a long, hard, lonely one, I am waiting for the day we will all be riding, laughing and smiling together again. Aaron was a good friend he was an understanding person he new what I was going thru and a little About my life I just wish I couldve thankd him before he left us. Aaron thank you buddy thank you for the kind words you've shared with me I love you and I will surely miss you. Thanks for being there when I lost my sista. Aaron, no matter how we look for the right thing to say, its never enough to fill the void that is left. All we can do is remember who you were and what you meant to each one of us. Thank you for being the person you were. Your memory will forever be with us. I feel a peace within knowing that you are in Heaven with Barney keeping eachother company. Ride into the sunsets together, for I am anticipating the day we will all ride together again. Watch over us you two & pray for God to grant us peace within.
