CRISELDA HERNANDEZ
EDINBURG - Cristela Hernandez, 89, passed away on January 5, 2010 in Edinburg, TX. She was born to her parents † Gabriel Garcia and † Herlinda Serna on February 28, 1920 in San Diego, TX.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ramon Hernandez; three brothers, Gabriel, Octavio and Adolfo Garcia; her four sisters, Estefana Alvarez, Minerva Colin, Estela Aguilar and Delicia Sanfilippo.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Ruben (Dora) Hernandez and Ramon (Donna) Hernandez; her daughters, Raquel (Bill) Barrera, Carmen (Brad) Bachmann, Rebecca (†Willie) Garcia and Cristela (Bob) Garcia. Also left to cherish her memory are her two sisters, Elida (George) Lahoma and Adelia (Adan) Cadena; her seventeen grandchildren and twenty one great-grandchildren.
A special thanks goes out to Dr. Noel Lopez and Paquita Davila.
A Funeral Mass will be held today at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in McAllen, TX. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mission, TX. All funeral arrangements are entrusted to Ceballos Funeral Home in McAllen, TX.
