Leonardo Sanchez Obituary

LEONARDO "LEO" SANCHEZ
McALLEN - Leonardo "Leo" Sánchez, age 64, a man of honor, dignity and integrity died peacefully on Sunday morning, May 17, 2009 at McAllen Medical Center.
He was born on April 18, 1945 to Ernestina Langley and Juan Sánchez. Leo was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served during the Viet Nam War.
He is survived by his sisters: Enedina Rivas, Paulita (Andrés) De La Rosa, Elodia Garza, Irma Martínez, Elva (Eugenio) Martínez and Alicia (Max) Navarro and by a brother, Ramiro Sánchez.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 21, 2009, at St. Jude's Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment with military honors will follow at the Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Skinner Silva Funeral Home of Pharr.
