Remembering Jan fondly. Her gift for music and dance. Her story-telling. She personally encouraged me to follow my path to ordination. Creative all the time, she was! Having a home cooked meal at her house was an adventure-always some food I´d never had before!

Dear Doug, Jenny and Mike,
My sincere condolences go out to all of you. Your mother was a powerful person and she raised quite a family. I have so many unforgettable memories shared through growing up near your house and attending the same church. Your mom was even my elementary school music teacher for a time. She was such a large part of our life in Clare.
God rest her soul.
Love,
Mark Miller.

Energetic, persistent and talented are adjectives I use to describe Jan. I see her singing and dancing. I see her handling obligations at Church with an artistic eye to detail. I see her sitting on the floor with children telling a story and singing a song. I see her preparing foods Ive never heard of. I see her trying to make sure children had healthy snacks whether they wanted them or not. My life has been so enriched by Jan!
Our loss is heavens gain!
Blessings, my friend! Dance on in glory!
