Margaret Jordan Obituary

Margaret Jordan was reunited with the love of her life and dance partner on November 3, 2023. Margaret was born March 31, 1934. She married her lifelong dance partner, Daniel on February 14,1957. Margaret and Daniel raised their 3 children, Mark, Christine and Matthew, in the Detroit area until 1977, at which time they moved to Littlefield Lake. While Margaret enjoyed being a mom and wife, she also enjoyed working outside the home. She was employed by Bell Telephone, Jervis B. Webb Co. and Henry Ford Hospital as an executive secretary. Once the family moved north Margaret chose to stay home and pick up her paintbrushes, gracing the world with stunning watercolors and oil paintings. When not painting, Margaret and Daniel enjoyed dancing and together, they moved around the dance floor as one. Waiting to greet Margaret on the eternal dance floor were the love of her life, Daniel, her beautiful son, Mark, her brother Lou Thomas and her friend, Elaine. Those left to celebrate Margaret's life and share her stories are, her best friend and daughter, Christine (Scott) Battle of Weidman; her son, Matthew (Deborah) Jordan of Traverse City; brother, Don Thomas of Grand Rapids; sisters, Charlotte Knauffman of AZ, Paula DeCook of AZ and Rita West of AZ. Her life legacy continues with her grandchildren, Scotty Battle, Dustin (Emily) Battle, Jordan (Ashleigh) Battle, Kaytlyn (David) Coors, Matt Jordan and Mark Jordan and her great-grandchildren, Ellery Battle, Layne Battle and Ava D Battle.
