Lorraine Gaille Obituary

Lorraine Wright Gaille died on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at the age of 91. Originally from Covington, LA, she and her husband of almost 70 years, Richard D. Gaille, Sr., have lived in River Ridge for over 50 years. She and her twin brother, the late Buford Wright, were born on October 14, 1925, to Louis and Clotilde Wright (both deceased) of Covington, LA. She is survived by her husband, Richard D. Gaille, Sr., her three children, Rick Gaille (Elaine), Linda Anderson (Michael), and Marlane Gaille, her four grandchildren, Lauren Flores (Don), Matthew Paige, Claire Pantell and Clay Gaille, and preceded in death by her grandson Ben Pinchback. Lorraine's love of the performing arts led her to found Artists Resident Theatre, publish the Marquee Talent Directory and direct the Harahan Senior Center Chorus. Her many accomplishments included work as theater director, casting and talent agency representative, and award-winning costume designer. In recognition of her work with the Ridgewood Preparatory School Band, the Lorraine Gaille Award for Service was established and continues to bear her name. The family plans a private memorial and invites you to share your thoughts, fond memories and condolences online at www.Never-Gone.com/Memorials/Lorraine.
