Grace Miller Obituary

CLYDE - Grace E. "Ginger" Miller, 80, of Clyde, died on Saturday,
February 7, 2009 at the Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky.
Mrs. Miller was born in September 3, 1928 in Norfolk, Virginia to the now deceased John and Essie (Ransom) Bowman. She moved to Clyde in the late 1940's following her marriage.
Ginger was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Clyde; a long time member of the Farm Bureau Council; a former Sunday School teacher and Sandusky County Fair worker, helping in the 4-H and Arts and Crafts building. However, her main focus and love was helping her husband with their farming, along with her flower gardening, crocheting and being a wonderful baker and cook.
Surviving Mrs. Miller are her husband, Frank E. Miller, whom she married on August 24, 1946; two sons, John H. (Flory) Miller, Clyde, Ralph E. (Kathy) Miller, Coatsville, Indiana; and a daughter, Sandra (Gary) Wott, Clyde. Five grandchildren, four great grandchildren; and one sister, Mertie Reed, Columbus also survive.
She was preceded in death by three siblings, Mary George, Dorothy Hancock, Mike Bowman.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 10, 2009 from 2-4:00 PM and 6-8:00 at the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St., Clyde, Ohio. The funeral will be on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church, Clyde with the Rev. Ray Kovach officiating. Burial will be in Butternut Ridge Cemetery.
