Shirley Daniels Obituary
LINDSEY: Shirley J. Daniels, 69 of Lindsey, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2013 at Countryside Continuing Care Center.
Shirley was born in Port Clinton on April 29, 1944 to Emery and Dorothy (Morgan) Bahnsen. She graduated from Port Clinton High School and later became a seamstress at Saddleman Inc. in Fremont, retiring in 2006. On January 5, 1980, she married Phillip Daniels at Peace Lutheran Church in Port Clinton. Shirley enjoyed camping and traveling, as well as quilting, sewing and baking.
Surviving along with her husband are children, J.P. (Jean) Anderson of Fremont and Jeff "Red" Anderson of Kansas, OH; step-daughters, Kim Mears of Amherst and Sheri (Dave) Kopcak of Fremont; step-son, Mike (Sue) Daniels of Green Springs; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents; infant son, James Anderson and grandchild, Tyler Daniels.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont from 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Maureen Pump will be officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Port Clinton.
Memorial contributions in Shirley's memory can be made to Hospice of Memorial Hospital.

Shirley was a member of the Hayes Ohio Star Quilters Guild and was a wonderful addition to our membership. She was a warm, friendly and talented quilter. She will be missed. I will keep her family in my thoughts and prayers.
