James William "Jimmy" Nobles

Funeral Services for Mr. James William "Jimmy" Nobles, age 67 of Dubach, will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Dubach United Methodist Church with Rev. Jimmy Pyles officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery near Dubach under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.

Mr. Nobles was born September 24, 1943 in Ruston to S.L. Nobles and Doris Saint Nobles. He died February 13, 2011 after a brief illness. Mr. Nobles worked for Raeford Farms. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding horses, fishing, building things and traveling. He was a member of Dubach United Methodist Church.

Mr. Nobles is survived by his wife of 28 years, Vicki Shields Nobles; his son: Brett Nobles and his wife Tracie of Dubach; two daughters: Kathryn and husband Trey Foster of Ruston and Melissa and husband Jimmy Hartwell of Dubach; four grandchildren: Harrison Hartwell, Landon Foster, Logan Foster and Garrett Nobles; one sister: Janice Terry of Ruston as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother: Simmie Nobles; daughter: Suzan Saint and son: Stacey Russell.

Visitation will be held at Owens Memorial Chapel from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, February 15, 2011.
