Kozel, Richard G. "Pooch"

Richard G. Kozel "Pooch" age 39, of Oshkosh, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2016. Pooch was born June 22, 1977, in Berlin to Thomas and Debra (Mellenthin) Kozel. He graduated from Oshkosh West High School in 1996. He was employed at Multicircuits. Pooch enjoyed rooting for the Oakland Raiders and fishing. He had a passion for bowling, and belonged to several leagues over the years. Spending time with his family, especially his daughter, Ashley, is what he enjoyed most.

Pooch is survived by his father, Thomas of Oshkosh; mother, Debra of Lake Balboa, CA; brother, Ryan of Oshkosh; sister, Shelby (Nick) Theis of St. Michael, MN; daughter, Ashley and her mother, Amber Pavlak and her son, all of Oshkosh; niece, Jazmyne; and his cat, Shadow. He is further survived by other relatives and many close friends.

Visitation will be held at Seefeld Funeral Chapel, 1025 Oregon St., on Tuesday, October 18, 2016, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A Celebration of Pooch's life will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at Rev's Lanes, 225 S. Washburn starting at 7:30 p.m. Pooch will be laid to rest at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at the Omro Cemetery.
