Missing you Carolyn after nearly 10 years. I continue to share your stories with family and friends. As I now travel the world, you are with me as we enjoy new adventures. Love you and am attaching a photo that shows your bright spirit and beauty in the mid 1960s. Love, Janice

Merry Christmas, Carolyn! We all miss you and are thinking of you today. I gave special bracelets to Maddie, Neve, Marissa, Jayden & Renee...they have lovely silver/chrome charms called "Carolyn" along with other charms and glass beads. This has been a tough year without you and Little Charlie. Love you, Janice

As many memories have been shared with me it's like I knew my extended cousin Carolyn in person. So many stories from my Mammaw (Marie Goines-Henke) about her brother my Uncle Fred and his family. I wish I had known her in person from the many of stories I have heard from Jan and when they came to visit us here in Lakewood, Colorado. No words can ever replace the feelings people go thru, but know you all and your families are in my prayers. And remember, As long as there are always pictures to look at and their memories to discuss Carolyn is never ever truly away. I Love you all very much.

I only learned last night. I am so sorry. I've only known Carol for about 4 years but I have loved her desire to live, and her good heart, and her participation and efforts. Her smile is a blessing to know, and her fight to live and go forward. I left the country Dec. 23 and returned Jan. 1 and was very sad to learn of her passing. May she rest in peace and her family find comfort in knowing they were so blessed by her being.

One of Carolyn's most memorable quotes “Wonder who ate at that table?” We were sitting around talking about the old table you had just put in your dining area. Your love of old things is one of the qualities that I will remember most…always repurposing something. Carolyn always saw the best in everyone…what a special person she was and who will truly be missed.

Just the mention of her name brings back floods of memories that were made when we were all very young. Running barefoot in Mama Goines yard in Arkansas and our visits to Michigan. We all shared alot of laughter and good times. There were alot of us. Thanks for the memories. Love John, Sharon(Sissy), and our families from Denver

So sorry to read about Carolyn's passing....she was always upbeat and happy. Growing up a few doors from the Hampton family, we watched the Goines family grow.....Carolyn, Janice, Gail and Melba. Mr.Goines always working on a vehicle, or a motor bike...when he wasn't keeping Pontiac safe as a Police Officer, and later as a Command Officer....helped keep all of us boys in "tow"... :-) Carolyn will be missed....God Bless and keep her....
