In Loving Memory of Mark Schmidt. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mark Allen Schmidt, who departed from this world last year, leaving behind a legacy of resilience, courage, and inspiration. Mark's life was a testament to the power of determination and the ability to overcome challenges. Mark was born on February 6, 1959, in Pontiac, Michigan.Age 64 of Ruidoso, New Mexico and died July 1, 2023. With a surviving mother, Joyce Schmidt, Children Kristine Kiser, Ryan (Stevie Rae) Kiser and 2 granddaughters Ryleigh and Sheridan Kiser. Also, survived by Timothy (Ladeana) Schmidt, Stephen (Robin) Schmidt, Lori Knapp, and Michael (Cynthia) Schmidt. He was preceded in death by Father Loren Schmidt, wife Sharon Schmidt and brother-in-law Dean Knapp. He served in the United States Amry where he was injured and faced adversity from an early age, living with a handicap that shaped his unique journey. Despite the obstacles he encountered, Mark approached life with an unwavering strong spirit, refusing to let his limitations define him. He proved time and again that true strength comes from within! Throughout his life, Mark touched the hearts of those around him with his kindness, compassion, and infectious optimism. His ability to find joy in the simplest moments and spread positivity to others was truly remarkable. Mark's infectious laughter and warm smile were a source of comfort to all who had the privilege of knowing him. In his leisure time, Mark enjoyed being a part of his motorcycle club, helping others and of course, caring for his little pack of dogs! He was a generous man who would go out of his way to help someone in need. He will be greatly missed. Public services will not be held at this time and Military honors will be scheduled at a later date. May Mark rest in peace, free from the constraints of this physical world and may his legacy continue to inspire generations to come.
