I grew up with Hank as my neighbor. He always made me laugh & told me stories of war. I remember him playing Santa at the mall. He always had a beautiful Christmas scene set up in his yard with lights & people would drive by. RIP Hank

Hank was a wonderful friend. He donned the Santa attire for the Lacey Fire Dept for many years bringing smiles to so many of our children. Hank was known as Capt. Hank and he took care of the fire personnel before and after fire events.

I was with Hank in POW camps in North Korea. He will always be a hero. He served under General Patton in Europe and was wounded twice. Was awarded 2 Bronze Star Medals and a Combat Infantry Badge. He was awarded another CIB in Korea. Hank always told me that life is for the living. He was a fine man who has now been Promoted to Glory. Condolences to all concerned.

Uncle Hank was always a welcome sight when he would visit his relatives and friends in Mn. My grandmother, Lydia P. Singer, who is his only surviving sister, kept a vigil while he was a POW for those three long years. My prayers go out to the grieving family members and friends of dear Hank.

Hank was one of my dad's very best friends. They were one year apart in age, and my dad, Harlow Inman, died in August of 2013. I have pictures of them together at Fr. Lewis during WWII. I can remember, when I was eight-years-old, lying on our living room floor reading the names of the POW's released from Korea and seeing Hank's name. I still have the newspaper clipping. When my parents moved into an assisted-living facility in 2004 in Spokane, WA, Hank came to visit them. He was 84 at the time and drove over from Olympia. I had occasion to visit with him at family funerals over the past few years and thoroughly enjoyed his company. When I was young, we knew him by his nickname as "Blondie." I will always remember him by that name and offer my sincere condolences to his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and every one in his extended family. He was truly a hero of the greatest generation and will be sadly missed. Sincerely, Paddy Inman
