CULVER - Eric Paul Van Horn was born on Aug. 15, 1968 in Plymouth to Harry Ronald (Ron) and Connie Van Horn. He attended Culver Community Schools graduating with the Class of 1986. Eric had worked at AVI/Pregis in Plymouth for many years and was most recently employed with Portside Docks in Culver.
Eric was a kind hearted person who would do anything for anyone he met. His greatest achievement in life was having his two children, Gunnar and Lindsey. Eric enjoyed fishing, boating, riding wave runners, spending time with family and watching Purdue football.
Eric is survived by his two children, Gunnar, Culver; and Lindsey, Fort Wayne. He is also survived by his father Ron Van Horn of Culver, brother Harry R. II (Vilma) of Monterey, sister Jennifer (Aaron) Talcott of Plymouth, grandsons Bentley and Nathan, nephew Kevin, nieces Abby and Allison as well as his aunts and uncles, Jon and Roseanne, Culver and Mike and Kathy of Fort Myers, Fla., cousins Brandon (Krista) of Iowa and Jeff (Emily) of Monterey. Eric was preceded in death by his mother Connie and grandparents Axel and Marguerite Johnson and Harry Paul and Louise Van Horn.
Visitation will be Friday, May 13 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. with a service beginning at 6 p.m. at the Grace United Church of Christ, 307 N. Plymouth St., Culver, IN 46511. There is comfort in knowing he is now with his mother and grandparents again in Heaven!
