BRIAN LYNCHA Obituary

PHILIPSBURG - Brian Christopher Lyncha, 41, of Philipsburg, died tragically Friday, Aug. 19, 2022, in Rush Township, Centre County.

Brian was born Aug. 6, 1981, in Philipsburg, a son of Christopher J. Lyncha and Brenda S. Boyer.

Brian had a strong love for music; anything from country to go-go. He was a very talented guitar player and loved to teach others how to play.

Brian also loved anything with the outdoors, he could always be found walking around town and outside enjoying nature. Brian also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and will be missed dearly by those who knew him.

Brian is survived by his parents, Christopher J. Lyncha and Brenda S. Boyer, both of Philipsburg; his two brothers, Shawn C. Boyer of Philipsburg, and Joshua A. Boyer and his wife Erica; a niece, Linden Boyer; and nephew, Benson Boyer, all of Brisbin; his grandmother, Mary Lou Boyer of Philipsburg; and numerous other extended family members.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2022, at 4:45 p.m., at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 719 E. Spruce St., Philipsburg. Following the service, the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
