DANIEL SHAFFER Obituary
He was born on May 23, 1984 in Clearfield, a son of the late Emory 'Sonny' and Debra (Learish) Shaffer.
Dan was employed by the Walmart Distribution Center.
He was a member of Camp Flying Squirrel where he loved to spend time.
Dan was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He liked hunting and fishing, especially fly fishing, collecting deer sheds, and hiking. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by two children, Bryant Shaffer, and Breanna Shaffer; a sister, Aimee Harris; three nephews, Hunter Bloom, Garrett Bloom, and Ethan Bloom; a great-nephew, Dalton Bloom; numerous close cousins; and his companion, Kathryn Smith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Aubrey Shaffer.
Friends will be received at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Thursday, April 4, 2024, from 2 to 5 p.m.

I have such fond memories of Dan and my son Gabe having play dates when they were little. He had such a sweet gentle spirit! My condolences to your family on such a loss! May you be comforted at this time.
