JUNE LOIS CLARK

1931 - 2024

POTTERSDALE - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, June Lois Clark, who passed away on Aug. 12, 2024 at the age of 93.

Born June 26, 1931 in Pottersdale, where she grew up and spent her life.

She was the daughter of the late James and Clara (Moore) Maney, and was a dedicated and loving wife to her late husband Verner Clark Sr., and a devoted mother to her 10 children.

June lived a fulfilling life and was a woman of many talents. She had a passion for cooking and baking, and her homemade dishes were always the highlight of family gatherings. She loved flowers, reading books, board games and puzzles. Scrabble was an all-time favorite.

She treasured her time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. It was unlikely that you left Gram Clark's house without being fed, and everyone loved the snack cabinet and plentiful supply of ice cream.

She is survived by nine of her children, Eugene (DiAnn), Steve (Judy), Bill (Linda), Kathy Anderson, Randy (Nancy Keiter), Jim (Darlene), Kristine Dixon (Barry), Sharon Albert (Bob), John (Sherry); 15 grandchildren with various spouses and companions; and 20 great-grandchildren, who will all miss her dearly.

June was preceded in death by her husband Verner; son, Joseph Clark; son-in-law, Ralph Anderson; great-grandson, Thomas Clark; as well as her parents and siblings.

Services will be held at Strange & Weaver Funeral Service, Morrisdale. Viewing will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2024 and again on Friday, Aug. 16, 2024 from 10 to 10:45 a.m. with funeral services to follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Vicki Beilfuss officiating.

The family suggests donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Children's Miracle Network in memory of June L. Clark in lieu of flowers.
