Well, "DAM." I can hardly believe it. David, you were the first person I knew who was a role model for being a Catholic family man while serving in the AF. I look up to you and am deeply saddened. I fondly remember, on one of my last days at Travis, you and I going to see that U-571. You got a kick out of the fact that I could translate all the German lines. What I wouldn't give to hang out with you one more time. Looking forward to seeing you on the other side.

Mudge was a high energy guy. I knew him from when I worked at Pride. He was always talking about his wonderful family. I remember that Dave was willing to talk about hockey at almost even given moment. He will be missed.
Praying for peace and comfort for your family.

Our sincere condolences to the Mudge family. We met many years ago probably because of our common interest and love for Germany. Anneliese and I had many dinners together with the Mudge family both at home and at church functions. We will miss David May he rest in peace

I was Dave base team softball coach at Ramstein AB Germany and he was the most dedicated player I had on that team. I remember when we were playing in the USAFE championship in England and told him I needed a long fly ball to get the run in to win the game and he hit a long fly to win the game. Dave you will be miss my "man". Love you!

I worked at Pride Industries under Dave mudg he was my boss he was a man of real integrity and one thing that stood out to me was how he carried himself with authority dignity but yet was always respectful to the people around him and that made it easy to respect him Dave had a really great sense of humor I recall a Time when building was complaining
about heel marks from shoes David went over and told them how about picking up your feet when you walk he told them that they were lucky to have me working in their building ihe was that kind of boss a great boss he would have our backs Dave you will be truly missed

I have shared tears of joy and tears of sorrow. I have shared my heart and David shared his. We talked of work and we talked of our son's named Andrew. He was so very proud of his daughter's achievements and I was of my daughters. He loved his wife and cherished their time together. David was easy to love. He held the respect and honor of his peers and me. All the days of my life "DAM" will forever be present.

SMSgt Mudge was my 1st Sgt during my last years active duty. He was a good guy and it shocks me he is gone, far too soon. Thank you for your service, brother.

Dave Mudge was my boss when he worked for Pride Industries. He was a great and kind man. He was always a lot of the time cheerful. He also liked to joke around with me. He made it fun to come to work. He will be missed. Our prayers are with you in times of need.Raymond and Cynthia Knapik.

We are so very sorry, dear Mudge family, to learn of Dave's passing. It was always a pleasure running into Dave at church or around town. He was always ready for a chat, and loved sharing updates on Cindy and the kids. Dave was a super positive man with a great big smile for all! Love to you all.
