Jeffrey Bacon Obituary

Dec. 19, 1961 - Sept. 7, 2018 Vacaville Jeffrey William Bacon, 56, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Friday, Sept. 7. Jeff was born in Miami, FL on Dec. 19, 1961 to William and Joyce Bacon. Jeff was a long time resident of Solano County living in both Fairfield and Vacaville. He graduated from Fairfield High School in 1980 and in 1986 started a 30 year career at Ardagh Group. As a young man Jeff met the love of his life Debbie Foreman, they were married for 25 years and welcomed two sons to their family, Tyler and Trevor, who remain his greatest contribution to this world he has left behind. Jeff's zest for life was expressed through his love for motorcycling, water and snow skiing, boating, scuba diving, sky diving and of course, a good BBQ party with family and friends. Jeff is survived by his sons, Tyler Bacon and Trevor Bacon of Vacaville; brother, Greg Bacon (Sandy); nephew, Zackry Bacon, all of Fairfield; niece, Kelsey Bacon of Wichita, KS, and nephew, Ryan Bacon of Oceanside. He will be deeply missed by his family, many friends, and coworkers at Ardagh Group. Jeff's parents William and Joyce Bacon preceded him in death. A celebration of Jeff's life will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 22, at Stormy Acres Ranch, 6161 Circle C Lane, Dixon.

Jeff and my dad had such a close friend bond. I always remembered that Jeff, my dad, and I would always go do something fun together. We all shared so many amazing moments together especially we would always travel together. Jeff was such a compassionate, enthusiastic, and a caring person with a good heart. Something that I also remembered was that whenever he would come over, he would always tell my dad and I a recap of his day and we should always share back. We wil always remember you and you will always be in our hearts unconditionally.

Jeff and my dad had such a special friendship. This was one thing that meant lots to both of them. They both cared so much for each other and its really disappointing to see Jeff leave this way. Jeff, my dad, and I did lots together almost everyday. We shared so many moments together especially we would always travel together. I always remembered how Jeff would always tell my dad and I a recap of his day whenever he would come over. Jeff was such a compassionate, enthusiastic, and such a caring person with a good heart. He meant so much to my dad and I. We miss you lots and you always be remembered in our hearts unconditionally.

I worked with Jeff at Rexam for 30 years. We shared the same passion for motorcycles. At work we would have discussions about numerous different topics. It is hard to believe that he is no longer on this earth. You never have to stop for gas now.

You called me your Grandma. She must have been quite a woman! Your idea of what we should do together was to cruise on your Harley, go off road in your truck, ride horses with Patrick and target practice with my Ruger. Don't get it wrong - Jeff and I didn't do these together exactly. He sat back and watched me while shouting words of encouragement. The girl can ride! The girl can shoot! And, who knew, Jeff was afraid of horses!
He was afraid of not being enough - for others. He couldn't walk away from anyone he thought he might be able to help. A kitchen had to be remodeled for his friend because the elderly grandmother had trouble reaching. A truck needed to be rebuilt. A fallen tree had to be removed.
I know tradition is to pray: Rest In Peace. However, I know for Jeff that an eternity of Rest is not what will bring Jeff Peace. May you find Peace - wind surfing the heavens. Catch you on the other side, my Friend.

Though I only knew Jeff for a short period of time, what I knew was like no other person. He was filled with joy, laughter, and plenty of sunshine in his smile and eyes. Good manners, and a true gentlemen.

My heart feels full for the time we shared getting to know one another-truly a great man. Lover of life, his family, and the ocean.

I have no doubt that he's listening to calm music, watching the sunshine on the water and fishin! Forever in my heart!
