Norma Lofgran Obituary
Norma E. 'Cris' Lofgran died peacefully at home in Vacaville, Tuesday, Sept. 15. She was 94 years old.
Born in New York City, April 20, 1921 as the only child to parents William A. Hoersting and Frances Haulis. She will be remembered for her service to the Navy and later for years of varied community service from hospital volunteer to teaching adults to read.
Married to Henry Kimball Lofgran and later divorced, she is survived by her two boys, Gunnar Lofgran and Eric Lofgran; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was a devoted homemaker and mother to her children and a self-made, strong woman later in life. She will be thoughtfully missed for the good woman she was.

My prayers and thoughts to Cris' family. I first met Cris when I was activity director at Leisure Gardens. She was always one of my favorites. Yes, she was a strong woman, a wonderful role model. She was a good friend, now a treasure in heaven.
