Randall Eugene Frost, 60, went home to be with the Lord peacefully Sept. 5.
Randall found the Lord in 2010 in the middle of Gravely Valley Road (his old home place) after being faced with the loss of his eyesight. The Lord had been dealing with him for quite sometime and to hear him tell the story he couldn't pick up his boots to run any farther.
He was a faithful member of Unicoi Chapel Church. He loved his church family and Cherlene's corn salad dearly.
During his time on earth, he was faced with many trials but his faith in the Lord never wavered. He loved the Lord and believed in the power of Prayer.
One thing is certain, Randy would tell you what he thought whether you liked it or not. As stubborn as he might have been, he had the best sense of humor and kept his family laughing. He would often call his children with a Dad joke and just hang up. He was a character and anyone who knew him is sure to have their own unique Randy story.
He was preceded in death by his dad: Jack Frost; his grandparents: Lewis and Socia Frost, and Bill and Laura Gibson; a nephew: Daniel "Danno" Frost; and his dog and best friend: Angel Frost.
He leaves behind a loving family and each one has their own special nickname given by him, his loving mom: Ada Frost; children, whom were his whole world: Wendy "Winnie the Pooh" (Brad) Weatherly, Cindy "Cinderella" (Tim) Duncan, Brandon "Bub" Frost, and Marvin "Punk" Holt; daughters-in-law, whom he considered his own: Makayla "Taterbug" Holt and Jacqueline "Jack" Frost (Jennifer Collins); grandbabies: Brianna "Banana Bread" (Chaz) Bruner, Morgan "Macaroni" Bourn (Chance Clark), Emily "Em" Seals (Clayson Corder), Aidan "Fangers" Weatherly, Piper "Pip" Frost, Brooklyn "Gracie" Duncan, and Elijah "Lij" Duncan; great-grandbabies: Axle "Ax-man" Bruner, Adalynn "G.G." Bruner, and Winnie Clark; a brother: Bill (Donna) Frost; a sister: Tammy (Randy) Bible; and a host of friends, including a special family friend, Shirley Dagenhart.
At his request of not having a traditional funeral service, he would challenge you to spend as much time with your family now while you have them.
"O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me." - Psalm 30:2 KJV.
