Christopher Sullins Obituary
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, in Blue Funeral Home in Marion, with the Revs. Jim Cock-burn, Roger Odom, Richard Sullins and Corey Tincher officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Association; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, P.O. Box 411, Marion, IL 62959.
Christopher was born Oct. 7, 1962, in Marion to Lloyd Louis and Nancy Sue (Doty) Sullins. He married Myl-inda Tincher on Dec. 30, 1989, in Marion; together, they shared almost 20 years of marriage.
Survivors include his wife, Mylinda of Marion; daughter, Andriea Sullins; sons, Brandon and Michael Sullins; foster child, Symone Harvey; his parents, Lloyd and Nancy Sullins of Marion; brother and sister-in-law, Charles Eugene and Shannon Sullins of Yelm, Wash.; sister, Tamerla Sue Sullins of Marion; several nieces and nephews; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Eugene and Iola Tincher of Marion.
Christopher attended New Horizon General Baptist Church. He currently was employed by Marion Unit 2 at Marion Junior High School, where he had many friends.
He enjoyed cross stitching and fishing. He was well known for his vast collection of Pez dispensers, and even had "Pezman" on his license plates.

I'm so sorry to hear about Chris' passing away. My deepest sympathy to his wife, childeren and family. I remember with fondness Chris working at the old Lowell's store,in Marion when he was about 18. I was in Jewelry Department.
