Tom was one of the first people that Kathy and I met when we moved to Carterville in 1983. We worked security at JALC and Carterville PD with Tom. In those days we got very close and came to appreciate Tom's humor, friendship and professionalism. We often sat as a group over coffee at Mama C's and shared stories, laughed at our mistakes and generally enjoyed each others company. Kathy and I want to express our thanks for having known him and condolences to his family family. Bill and Kathy Marks
