I am a stranger to Peter and family but as I read his obituary I have tears in my eyes. I extend my deepest condolences and pray that somehow grief will fade and that beautiful, loving memories keep him living in your hearts.I know all too well how you are feeling today. May peace be with you.
... and this too shall pass ~

Peter was one of my sons's, Dalton Cline, closest friends. Peter's amazing personality always brightened any room he entered and the world is a little darker with his passing.
I would like to share a little of an email we received from Dalton, he is currently serving a mission in Des Moines, Iowa:
"Well, this week has been one of the hardest of my whole mission so far. The week wasn't going so good, then i received some news about one of my best friend's Peter passing. At first I didn't understand why? That day I really didn't want to do anything I just wanted to honestly go home. But I prayed for comfort and I also receive a blessing and then I just understood everything. That my dear friend Peter was here to touch the life`s of every single person he met and he is a huge part of the person I am today. I know how much he wanted to serve a mission and the lord needs 10X as many missionaries up there then down here and I know that is what he is doing. I know without a doubt that I will see him again and know not in this life but the next life, I will because this life is just a small moment in all eternity. " ~ Dalton Cline
I want to thank Peter's family for raising such an incredible young man and want to let them know how much he has touched our lives. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the Lewis family during this difficult time.

To Darrell and Jodi, I am truly sorry for the loss of your son. To lose a child, I can really only imagine the pain. But if you ever feel like the pain is too much to bear turn to God in prayer. He will give you strength beyond what is normal.
