Brian Heavenridge

Hartford City - Brian Keith Heavenridge, 53, of Hartford City, lost his decade long battle with cancer, on August 17, 2018. Brian was born in Muncie, the son of Larry and Louise (Young) Cook.

Brian was a devoted family man and church man. He was a member of the Towne Acres Church of Christ in Muncie. He was a self-employed floor installer. He loved to watch NASCAR, hunt, and grill out.

Brian was a loving son, husband, father, brother, and uncle. He leaves behind his mother, Louise (Joe) Cook; son, Travis Alan Heavenridge; siblings: Tammy Heavenridge, Randy (Vikki) Heavenridge, Cindy Cox (Larry Conway), and Jared Heavenridge; mother of his son, Lana Marie (Coleman) Heavenridge; many nieces and nephews; and his puppy dogs, Dusty and Sully.

Brian was preceded in death by his father, Larry (Linda) Heavenridge; Aunt and Uncle, Sheliah and Larry Dorton; and puppy dogs: Luc, Missy, and Precious.

Garden View Funeral Home is assisting Brian's family during their loss. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August, 24, 2018 at 12:00 noon in the Towne Acres Church of Christ, 2411 East Riggin Road, Muncie, IN 47303, with pastor Mark Reynolds officiating. Online condolences may be made to the family by visiting www.gardenviewfuneralhome.com . Memorial contributions may be made to The Leukemia And Lymphoma Society.
