Greg was one of the finest people I have known. He was my friend, colleague and confidant for over 20 years, a true and righteous man who touched many lives and leaves us all both saddened at his passing, but gladdened in the knowledge that he brought a lot of good to this world. I will miss him terribly and will think of him often. My love goes out to his parents, brother, his son, the love of his life, Mel, and all of us who will grieve at his loss for years to come. God bless you Greg.

As with so many people who had the honor and pleasure to know Greg, I am at a loss to adequately express the sadness at his passing, knowing that it but a fraction of what his family is feeling.
I hope that you may take solace in knowing the universally high regard in which he is held by his colleagues throughout the nation. Like Will Rogers, whom he was fond of quoting, Greg was known for befriending nearly everyone. He His wry, rustic humor was ever a delight and made every gathering a pleasure.

It was a bittersweet joy to spend time together last April. Several such gatherings gave many an opportunity to thank Greg for being Greg, a privilege for us all.
Though passionate, he was consistently courteous. His heart and dedication to helping others has been and remains a high bar to strive for. I hold him as a true friend.

I have so many good memories of Greg. Our parents ran around together so my brother and Greg & Travis were blessed to also spend a lot of time together. We played together in sports and later in life our young families used to hang-out together. Greg touched many lives and will be missed by all. My prayers go out to Greg's family.

I am so saddened to hear of Greg's passing ! He was such a kind soul and never judged anyone. I feel a lot of people can take GREG as an example on how to treat people. We went to school together and graduated from MC the same, 1982. He and his family did a lot well hunting n fishing with my dad so our 2 families had constant contact since graduation in one way or another. my prayers are that he is enjoying his new body with out the sickness and he is with my dad and paul bunner planning their next deer hunt or fishing trip in heaven. As for everyone here on earth I pray for healing in times in grief and may comfort find its way soon. Greg's life is to be celebrated and I feel so blessed to have known him like I did. I dont believe in " goodbyes " so I will say " Greg, see ya later "
