There was no finer man than JC. As a boy growing up, JC was always there to fix a bike flat or to help with anything I needed. He was an excellent angler and taught me many fishing techniques and how to tie fishing knots as just a small example of the countless things he taught me over the years. He was always ready to go fishing, but the times I will truly cherish will be the fun we had on camping trips; or when I would unexpectedly show up at his house to watch home box office with him. The Lord took his wife Geneva, almost thirty years now, but JC remained close to us and we were always welcomed in his home. He was the only Grandfather I ever knew. JC was the most freehearted man I have known and he was always there for me - I will truly miss the times we had together. May the Lord bless JC and praise him for his life and the country he defended. We will always miss you Jake...
