I love Lauren so much. She was my very first friend growing up. Sleepovers, sports, vacations together, summer camps we were like sisters. She was full of life, and always a joy to be around. I honestly would get jealous when she'd make a new friend, because I was worried she'd like them more and hang out with me less. But if you knew Lauren, you'd know it was impossible not to love her. It hurts to think about her being gone. But I am happy that she came into my life, and was my very first friend. I cherish her memories, and hold them dear to my heart.

I don't know if you can read this, but I pray with all my heart that you can. I wish I had the chance to tell you how much I love you, and how much I appreciated you always being there. When I felt like I had no one to turn to, you were the one person who was there. Nothing can describe the loss I feel without you. I just want you to know how much I appreciate all those late night conversations and words of encouragement and love. If everyone was more like you there would be a lot more laughter and a lot less fighting. Words can't explain how much I love you and idolize you. I pray that I will see you again, God willing.

I was saddened to learn of Lauren's passing. She was so pleasant and a pleasure to be around. We certainly don't understand why these things happen, but I am praying that she is safe in The Master's Presence.
