Pamela Stroud
August 5, 1946 - February 12, 2022
Camden, South Carolina - Pamela Thrasher Stroud, 75, of Camden, passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022. Born in Wilmington, NC, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Margaret Floyd Thrasher, and the wife of Ronald "Ronnie" H. Stroud. Pam attended the University of South Carolina, where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in accounting and was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority. She was a member of First Baptist Church Camden. She was also the former owner and operator of Wateree Business Tax and was a member of the Gideon's International Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary. Pamela was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be deeply missed.
In addition to her husband of over 30 years, Pam is survived by her sons, David Stroud (Michelle), James Stroud (Sherri), and Brian Stroud; grandchildren, Ashlee Fairfax, Joshua Stroud, Tyler Stroud, Breanna Stroud, Jay Stroud, and Xander Stroud; siblings, William Thrasher (Susan) of Wilmington, NC, and Diane Mills of Little River, SC; as well as seven great-grandchildren, three nieces, one nephew, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at First Baptist Church Camden, 1201 Broad Street, Camden, SC 29020, officiated by Rev. Phillip Gerrald. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
