I think about you every day. I love the idea that you, your hubby, mom, dad and siblings are reunited.
I was shocked recently to read a novel in which two sisters are named Rosamund & Posy. The author´s spelling differs from the Rosamond whom I loved & knew. Rest well!

Rosamond Sprague remains dear in my memory. She is a friend who influences my life now as I am the age she was when she and I met. Her enthusiasm for life and graceful aging inspire me to live the way she lived. I love Rosamond Sprague.

I took a class in Greek Philosophy under Dr. Sprague back in the late sixties and thereafter, we would talk once in a while. I owned and ran a bookstore in Five Points during the eighties and nineties, and she and her husband would come by. They were always very nice. I last saw her in 2013 when I was walking through campus less than a block from her house, now the CS Lewis Student Center.
"Good morning, Dr. Sprague," I said.
"Excuse me, but who are you," she replied.
"Gonzalo Leon, remember was your student and I had a bookstore . . ."
I didn't get to finish my sentence for her face lit up with recognition.
"Oh, yes, yes, give me a hug, give me a hug."
I had never hugged her before. Sweet lady.
"Come see me some time."
From then on, every time I walked past her place, I thought of stopping to say "hi." But I just didn't want to bother her. Then one day, the CS Lewis sign was on display.
I wondered what had become for her. I could not find any news about her until the other day when I ventured to check the obituary as I had done on a number of occasions before.
More than a great teacher, she was a wonderful person, a kindhearted woman.
