Michael Spencer Obituary
Born in Taunton, MA on February 28, 1954, he was a loving son of Shirley E. (Woodward) Spencer of Norton and the late Elwood W. "Bud" Spencer.
Michael grew up in Norton and was a 1972 graduate of Norton High School. During the time of the Vietnam War, he, along with his late brother Donald, proudly served together in the United States Army. He was stationed from 1972-1974 in Hawaii and following his honorable discharge, moved to Las Vegas where he lived for several years.
For the majority of his working career, Michael was a professional painter. He made his home in Norton for most of his life and was a member of the Norton VFW and a member and past officer of the Norton American Legion. Michael enjoyed spending time with family and friends alike. His hobbies included gardening, golfing and playing cards.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his devoted siblings: Bruce W. Spencer of Norton, Marita L. Metivier and her husband William of Blackstone, Darrell Spencer of Norton, and the late Steven E. Spencer and Donald L. Spencer. He was the dear brother-In law of Mary-Jo Crowley of Taunton and is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews.
Services will be held privately and visiting hours are omitted.

Michael was a good friend. Though we only kept in touch at HS reunions over the past decade or so, the memories we made through and after high school will last forever. Rest in piece my friend.
