Larry Allen Masters
Hamel, IL - Larry Allen Masters, 68, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023 at Mercy Hospital.
He was born on February 22, 1955 in St. Louis, MO the son of Ralph and Lavern (Stratton) Masters. On February 21, 1998 Larry married Donna Logan in Edwardsville, IL.
Larry attended Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville and was member of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, traveling, boating, extreme snow skiing, scuba diving, as well as teaching his grandchildren anything and everything.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Donna Masters; children, April Bollman (Chad) of Edwardsville, Angie Wallace (Robert) of Troy, and Stephen January (fiancée, Ashley Clare) of Hamel, IL; grandchildren, Isabella Bollman, Cameron Bollman, Cayden Wallace, and Deacon Wallace; a brother, Steve Masters of House Springs, MO; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Bruce and Julie Masters.
The family is hosting a Celebration of Life on Friday, July 14, 2023 at 4:00 pm at the Hamel Community Center.
Memorials are suggested to go towards a fund for the grandchildren's college. Please make checks payable to Stephen Janaury.
