Anthony Bader Obituary

Anthony John "Little Tony" Bader Jr., 19, Covington Twp., died Monday afternoon due to injuries suffered in an automobile accident.

Born Aug. 23, 1999, in Scranton, the son of Stacey Davis Lacek and husband, Michael, and Anthony John Bader and wife, Dr. Kelly McGuire-Bader, he was educated in North Pocono School District. He was employed by his father at BNT Movers and, currently, Locust Ridge Quarry - the H&K Group. Little Tony was also an independent lawn care specialist.

With a giving heart, infectious smile and caring attitude, helping people was Little Tony's specialty. There was never a person he met that he didn't find some way to make their life a bit better. If it had a motor, he loved it. He lived his life as such that his loss will be immense but his impact will be so much greater.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his loving siblings, Sarah, Matthew, Jaimin, Ryan, Cole and Phoebe; his very blessed grandparents, William and Cheryl Davis; Joyce Clark and David Farrell; Robert and Lucero Bader; Jenny Bader; Colleen McGuire and Timothy Kramer; and his grandma and grandpa up the farm; the love of his life, Kaylee Widmer; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and countless friends.

A celebration of Little Tony's life will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Daleville United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 423 Dorantown Road, Covington Twp., with the Rev. Michael Hauser, officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Church Fellowship Hall.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Anthony to Marley's Mission, 2150 Port Royal Road, Clarks Summit, PA 18411.

Arrangements are under the loving care of his "grandpa," Timothy M. Kramer, funeral director, and entrusted to the Kearney Funeral Homes Inc., Old Forge and Scranton.
