Joseph Farnham Obituary

Joseph Farnham Jr., 58, of Taylor, formerly of New Jersey, died Tuesday in Allied Skilled Nursing. His wife is the former Patricia M. Russell. The couple celebrated 23 years of marriage on April 25.

Born in Newark, N.J., son of the late John Farnham Sr. and Amelia Severino Farnham, he was educated in New Jersey public schools and was a 1970 graduate of East Side High School. Before his illness, he was employed by Metropolitan Insurance Co. Joe's greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

The family would like to thank Traditional Hospice for the kind and compassionate care shown to Joe and his family.

Also surviving are two grandchildren, Antoinett and Brandon; a daughter, Robin; two brothers, Arthur and Thomas Lynch, both of Toms River, N.J.; two sisters, Arlene Luante and husband, Anthony, and Connie Lynch, all of Brick, N.J.; and a best friend, Billy Lombard, Taylor. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Charles and Philip Lynch and Danny Farnham.

The funeral will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by the Thomas J. Hughes Funeral Home Inc., 1240 St. Ann's St., Scranton.

Joey may you rest in peace. I remember all the fun we had growing up on Vincent Street. Playing Spud, Baseball and the parties in Aunt Mae and Uncle Al's yard.
Give the family my regards. I'm sure my Dad has the band playing.
