Fly Forever Free Our Brother

Ken and Geri Hedden

April 30, 2015

Ken and I just heard. Lenny, our Brother from another mother....we had many many good times, saw you through some rough times, cried with you through sad times, and loved you all the time. I wish we had gotten down there so I could make you a big batch of potato salad to share with your family. We are devastated at the news, our long time Forever Friend. Tell Pat we said HEY, and we know that you two are hunting the big bucks up there that God is providing for you, having a blast. When Ken gets there you guys can play a great game of chess, and laugh and laugh like we used to, even though I had no idea how you guys did what you did. Even though miles and injury, and illness has separated us for a long time, we enjoyed a great visit when we had the motel, and Ken and I were planning a trip to see you in June. But it never mattered how long it was between phone calls, it seemed like it was just yesterday that we talked. Nothing ever changed. We remembered when all your kids were born, and when Elizabeth was "found out" how surprised you were, and what a BLESSING she is to you all. I remember how protective he always was of his baby girl, and God HELP her perspective boyfriends...LOL. Liz surely found a great man because Lenny must have fallen in love with him too to let him marry her. I am so sorry for all of you, you were his Prides and Joys his biggest accomplishments in life, with the only LOVE of his life as their mother. Our prayers are with you all....and us too. We will put on our "Cheap Sunglasses" this evening and go out on the deck and salute our friend our Bro forever. Much love to all of you.
