By amazing coincidence, Duane's old colleague and friend, and my father, Ed Logue, also died on July 9 in Walnut Creek. Duane was my boss for four summers in the late 1960s when, as a college student, I worked in the accounting department of J.H. Pomeroy. I met my husband Dave Larsen there. It was an exciting time in the construction business in San Francisco.
