Jason Wood Obituary
Jason was born in Burlington on October 20, 1977, the son of William Douglass Wood and Janie Bruner King.
He attended Williams High School and received his GED from Alamance Community College.
Jason received a Pharmacy Technician certification from ACC. He was employed in the logistics profession. Jason was a movie buff.
He especially enjoyed watching action/adventure and horror movies. He also loved spending time with friends and family.
Surviving in addition to his parents are a daughter, Hanna Lynn Parnell, a sister, Kelley Wood Herndon (Ron Herndon), maternal grandmother, Opal Bruner, and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday in the chapel of Omega Funeral Service & Crematory with Neil Breed, Life Celebrant, officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to Residential Treatment Services, 136 Hall Ave, Burlington, NC 27217.

Jason came to my house often on Sherwood Drive to play with my two sons, Jason and michael. WE moved away and lost touch. Always had fond memories. I went to school with Janie and Doug.
