Ellen, Jason, John and family, I offer my sincere condolences. I enjoyed serving from 1974-1979 with Keith, John and Ellen on the Alamance County Rescue Squad. I ejoyed Keith's warm heart even though he enjoyed kidding and having a good time. I'll never forget Ellen's acts of kindness keeping my two sons while I worked monthly 3rd shift Sunday evenings at the squad house. May God Bless you all during this difficult time.

There is no doubt in my mind that Keith Carver is responsible for my being able to walk. When I was just 9 years old, I broke my neck. Keith held my neck in manual traction all the way down the bumpy road to Chapel Hill that night. I was terrified, but he was calm. Keith is at least partially responsible for my choice of a career. I have now been a nurse for almost twenty five years. I will never forget his commitment to his career, and I hope I demonstrate as much compassion to my patients as he did to me. May God bless you Ellen, my prayers are with you and your family.
