Olin Brock Obituary

Mr. Olin Berry Brock,
affectionately known as
"Red" Brock, age 69,
passed away Thursday,
April 3, 2025, at his resi-
dence.
He was born Aug. 11,
1955, in Banks County,
Ga., having lived most of
his life in Stephens Coun-
ty. He was the son of Hazel
Edmonds Brock and the
late Otis Blakely Brock.
He worked in mainte-
nance at Coats & Clark for
a number of years. Red
was of the Baptist faith
and loved Gospel music
and bluegrass music, he
loved hunting dogs and
plowing with mules. Red
loved to watch Pat and
Deb Puckett, who traveled
the country riding and
teaching horsemanship,
cattle work and roping.
His dog and best friend is
"Little Man", the two were
inseparable.
He was preceded in
death by his father Otis
Brock, a granddaughter
Piper Marlowe and a
brother Harold Brock.
Survivors include his
mother, Hazel Edmonds
Brock of Lawrenceville,
Ga.; daughter, Sarah Mar-
lowe of Clarkesville, Ga.;
son, Stuart Brock of
Clarkesville, Ga.; brother,
Arthur Brock of
Lawrenceville, Ga.; two
grandsons, Logan and Cae-
lan Marlowe; a number of
nieces and nephews.
Graveside service was
held Wednesday, April 9,
2025, at 11 a.m. at the
Edens Family Cemetery,
Martin, Georgia with the
Rev. Roger Elrod officiat-
ing.
Interment followed in
the Edens Family Ceme-
tery with the Acree-Davis
Funeral Home and Crema-
tory in charge of the ar-
rangements for Mr. Olin
"Red" Brock.
