Charles Morrow Obituary
Services for Charles E. Morrow will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February19, 2012, at the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria, with Mr. James Morgan doing the Eulogy. Burial will be at Alexandria Memorial Gardens, Woodworth, Lousiana, under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 19, 2012, at Hixson Brothers, Alexandria, from 1:00 p.m. until service time for family and close friends.
Mr. Morrow, 83, of Alexandria, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at his residence.
He was a member of the Mason's and Lion's Club of Alexandria. Mr. Morrow retired from England Air Force Base as a Civil Service employee in Cost Management. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Clara Maddox Morrow in 1986; parents, Emmitt Hanson and Martha Melvina Francis Morrow; two brothers, Evie Morrow, J. B. Morrow; two sisters, Ora Morrow Edwards, Moease Morrow Beeson.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 25 years, Hilde Morrow of Alexandria; daughters, Kathy Morrow Landry and husband Larry of Parker, Colorado, Patti Morrow Campo and husband Jim of Woodworth; stepdaughters, Diana Hobbs Richard of Alexandria, Marilyn Christiene White and husband Michael of San Antonio, Texas; brothers, Carl Morrow of Baton Rouge, D. Emmitt Morrow of Pollock; sister, Barbara Morrow Stringer of Franklin, Tennessee; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers will be Marvin Juneau, Randy Miller, Col. Lee Mott, Lance Landry, Luke Miller, Larry Landry, and Jim Campo.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 1450 Peterman Dr. Suite B. Alexandria, LA 71301.

For the family of Charlie Morrow. Of course to me it was always Mr. Morrow and two weeks a year Sr. MSgt. Morrow.
It was my pleasure to work with and serve under Mr. Charlie Morrow from 08/1966 thru 08/1968 when I has PCS orders to Thule, Greenland.
While at England AFB, Charlie Morrow encouraged me and pushed a lowly Airman to gain Education and excel in my AFAC. I picked up 24 hours from LSU and was promoted to the Rank of Thank you Charlie Morrow.
I was able to finish my degree BBA, served 38 years asa State Farm Agent. Still married after Forty-four years and looking Forty-Five in Nov.
God......Country.....Family.....a Legacy that I owe in part to Charlie Morrow.

I'm so very sorry to hear about Mr. Charlie's passing, I worked with him at Wal-Mart & he was a joy to work with. His smiling face will be missed so much. My prayers are with the family and I'm so sorry for your lost, he will truly be missed.
