Dear Marilyn, Gary, & Phil,
What sadness I felt when Mother told me about your mom. I have very fond memories of her, especially those that go back to when she and your dad took me "under their wing" right after I graduated from college and had my first job in Shreveport. Of course, that was decades ago, but still so special! She had tremendous love and was so proud of her family, and I always admired her faith! I will send each of you a note as soon as I get your addresses. Kathy

Phil, I am so sorry to hear about your mother. Although I have not seen her in a while, I remember her well, keeping us kids in line when we rode our horses in Dixie Garden! She was a dear, sweet lady and will be greatly missed.
