Laura Rocco Obituary
She was born in Tallahassee, to her late parents, Owen R. Council and Alice E. (Jones) Council. Laura loved the beach, the water and everything about the ocean. She adored her five grandchildren and couldn't eat enough boiled peanuts. Laura and husband Rocky volunteered every Sunday at Eden Springs Church Service.
She is survived by her husband Rocky A Rocco III of Panacea; sons, Randy (Becky) Owen of Austin, Texas, Woolley Sanders of Crawfordville; sisters, Judy Council Duprey of Woodville, Beverly Council Mullis (Don) of Crawfordville; and five grandchildren: Ashlynn Owen, Brooke Owen, Colton Sanders, Savannah Sanders, and Kempton Sanders.
A Celebration of Life will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018 at the Council Reunion Shelter Farm House, 3575 Crawfordville Hwy., Crawfordville, Florida 23237.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Forbes Funeral & Cremation Services, 2758 Coastal Hwy., Crawfordville, Florida 32327. 850-926-4407.
