Mary-Ann (Trebisacci) Gencarelli, 75, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023 at the Westerly Hospital following an extended illness.

She was predeceased by her parents, the late Louis and Rose Trebisacci; and a sister Carolle (Kemp).

Mary-Ann is survived by her companion of 45 years, Don Montgomery; a sister Janice (Ron) Gulluscio; one niece and one nephew.

She was born in Westerly, attended local schools, graduated from Westerly High School and cosmetology school in Providence. She owned and operated Mary-Ann's Beauty Salon on Oak Street for 35 years. She also did cosmetology services at many funeral homes and nursing homes in and around Westerly.

Mary-Ann resided at the Westerly Health Center for the past nine years. Her family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the loving care extended to her at this facility.

Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. There will be a Memorial Mass celebrated at a later date. There are no services at this time. Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Don, I am so sorry for your loss. You were always by her side these past 9 years. I'll never forget how Mary-Ann would always check out my shoes when I visited my mother at Westerly Health, she loved anything with sparkles.
