Stanton Terranova Obituary
He leaves behind his son, Stanton James Terranova, his two sisters, Bonnie Conroy and Sheilia Beattie (Thomas) both of Westerly, four nephews and many cousins and dear friends.
He built his life in Misquamicut and loved the beach.
He will be remembered for his generous nature, kindness and sense of humor. Stanton loved animals and contributions in his name can be made to Westerly animal shelter (SUFA, 33 Larry Hirsch Lane, Westerly).
Family and friends will gather on Wednesday the 11th of December at the Cooked Goose (92 Watch Hill Rd, Westerly) 4-6pm.

Always had great talks at the beach in westerly, ri. I am sorry for delay in my note but when i didn't get a reply from him , i wasn't sure if Covid was causing delay. I just found out. I was trying to reach hos son Stan. But not sure where he is now , was still in law school when i last saw him. Please know you Dad and Grandfather where great men and are missed. Please pass on on his son.

It's hard to imagine a year has gone by since Stanton's passing. So much has changed; the world is a different place. What remains the same, and always will, are our memories of a great dad, a great brother, and a great friend. I am so very sorry to hear of Stantons passing. I worked at PV for many years and we were a family. Stanton worked as hard as we did and if you needed to talk he always made time. Inside the tough boss was a kind loving man and I'm sure he is in God's hands now. My heart and prayers go out to his family and freinds. I will never forget how he touched my life and heart.

We are deeply saddened by the news of Stanton's passing. We will always remember the great times we had with him at PV. Stanton was always so welcoming and generous. We have made some amazing friends through the years staying at PV which we credit to how the Terranova family ran their resort. Stanton will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

I am heartbroken to learn of the passing of my pal Stanton. In 1984 my brother and sister and I bought homes in Misquamicut Beach and were delighted to join the group of young bucks who worked hard and played harder. Stanton of course was one of the ring leaders and our 35 year friendship is a cherished one to me. The PV was ground zero back in the 1980's and 1990's and we spent endless nights Down Under, as well as at the Andrea and frequenting all the clubs up and down the strip. So much fun and so many stories. Stanton was kind and generous, and a loyal friend and my family and I will miss him dearly. I will think of him often when I'm in town, will miss him sitting on my porch and shooting the breeze, and know his spirit will forever be present on the beaches of Misquamicut. God Speed Stanton.

He was just 17 when I started working for this family. His work ethics and love for the family business were impressive for one so young. And the love for the beach and his family continues throughout the years. My sincere condolences to T3, Bonnie, Shelia and to all of his cousins.
