Born January 8, 1928, and peacefully passed from this life on April 22, 2008. Leaving behind daughters and their husbands Linda and Tony Roe, Patricia and Hugh Heuer, Susan Overholt and Paula and Richard Holberg. Grandchildren Clay Lomba, Victor Shada, Joanna Harrison, Sara Davis, Richard Holberg II, and Desiree Holberg and six great grandchildren.
Imogene was born in Seminole, OK, to Dean Fowler, the eldest of eleven children. Times were tough so they moved west to Arizona and then to California and settling in the Sacramento area. She met and married our dad, Henry Davis. Twenty-five years and five children later she met and married Bob Goble and moved to Fortuna, CA. After years of owning and operating Gobles Park Grocery, it was finally time to retire. For health reasons, Imogene stayed in Fortuna, but she will be laid to rest at East Lawn Cemetery, Folsom Blvd., Sacramento, CA, at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 26, 2008.
She leaves behind many brothers, sisters and lifelong friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Davis, son Robert Dale Davis, and granddaughter Kimberly Ann Shada Brown.
In Lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Hospice of Humboldt, 2010 Myrtle Avenue, Eureka, CA. Without their support and loving care we would have been lost.
Visitation will be held from 12-8:00 PM on Friday April 25, 2008, at the East Lawn Elk Grove Mortuary, 9189 E. Stockton Blvd., Elk Grove, CA. Local arrangements are under the direction of Goble’s Fortuna Mortuary, Fortuna.

I worked for Imogene and Bob at Goble's Liquors Store in the late 70's. I have very fond memories of working with Imogene she was a no nonsense gal with a good heart. I always meant to call her to see how she was doing I wish I would have. My thoughts and prayers are with Imogene's family.
