Vivian Sheppard Obituary
Born May 5, 1937, she grew up in Dublin, where she met her husband, Enman J. Sheppard Jr. (d.2013). She was a devoted wife, caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was also an LPN and consummate homemaker who enjoyed cooking, sewing and entertaining friends and family.
In 2021, her journey guided her to Ellijay, to be near her daughter, Betsy Sheppard.
She is preceded in death by parents, Walter and Essie Tomlinson; husband, Enman J. Sheppard Jr.; and brothers, Stanley F. Tomlinson and Charles S. Tomlinson.
She is survived by daughters, Connie S. Queen, of Wilmington, N.C.; Betsy L. Sheppard, of Ellijay and Amy S. Authur, of Dublin, and their spouses; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Honoring her wishes, the family will hold a private interment in Dublin.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her memory to Georgia Mountains Hospice, 70 Caring Way, Jasper, GA 30143.
